AMADEUS ARTISTS is launching the AMADEUS ARTISTS ACADEMY Online to support professional vocal training and identify the new opera talents though remote vocal training with our professional teachers, all of whom are internationally recognized opera singers.



OBJECTIVES


Classes will be taught online with qualified AMADEUS ARTISTS with extensive professional and teaching experience.


At the AMADEUS ARTISTS ACADEMY Online the student will learn:

• The Basic Principles of the the vocal instrument: breath, support, voice placement, correct intonation, register, diction, vocal agility, repertoire architecture, stage presence & acting.


• The Necessary Tools to overcome obstacles on the way to professional success: confidence & mental training, physical strength, tips for a good personal routine, networking & marketing.





OPPORTUNITIES


AMADEUS ARTISTS will keep an eye on outstanding new talents for the Artist Roster and offer them the adequate vacancies for Opera Studios or Theaters.


We will offer yearly scholarships for one or more outstanding students with the potential of an audition tour in European theaters.


Dedicated for more than 20 years in developing his special pedadogic formula to prepare high performance opera singers, Gabriel Mijares counts already two prestigious operalia winners under his preparation: Rolando Villazón (1999) and Maria Kazarava (2008), among other succesfull high performance opera singers like Dante Alcalá & Leticia de Altamirano a.o. He started his vocal studies at Escuela Nacional de Música in México and later on at the Guild Hall School of Music and Drama in London. He performed aside great figures of the international opera scene such as Ramón Vargas, Fernando de la Mora, Genaro Sulvarán, Vladimir Chernov, Eva Martin, a.o. He was Jury of the "Voces de Bicentenario", first opera reality show.

Maria Katzarava first came to international renown when she won the First Prize and the Zarzuela Prize at the Placido Domingo Operalia World Competition in 2008. She has performed in the roles of Antonia, Giulietta and Stella in Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Offenbach in Piacenza, Modena and Reggio Emilia; her debut (Teatro Manzoni in Bologna) with R. Strauss´ Four last songs, her debut as Micaëla in Bizet´s Carmen at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Verdi´s La Traviata at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, a concert with Andrea Bocelli in Florence conducted by Zubin Mehta; a.o.

Rocío Tamez (born in Mexico) has a Masters degrees in Voice and Violin performance, and completed the coursework of her Doctorate in Voice and Vocal Pedagogy at the University of Southern Mississippi. Tamez has sung several opera roles, and has been a soloist in operatic galas, oratorios and concerts with orchestras in Mexico, the USA, and in Italy where she performed a concert with Soprano Maria Katzarava at the Castle of Viscogliosi-Boncompagn in Isola de Liri, and with whom she has also sung in various operas and galas. Tamez performed in Spain for the closing recital of the prestigious “Life Victoria Festival” Barcelona 2017. Tamez also performed the role of Paula in the CD recording of Florencia en el Amazonas by Daniel Catán. Future engagements include a concert at the Lunario of the National Auditorium in Mexico City, and operas and recitals. She is a voice instructor and vocal coach in her private studio and teaches master classes.

Carla Maffioletti studied voice at the Maastricht Academy of Music in Maastricht, the Netherlands and immediately after, began working with the famous violinist Andre Rieu. In addition to touring the globe with the orchestra, Maffioletti has performed and produced several albums and DVDs.

Carla Maffioletti was engaged as a soloist of the Luzerner Theater’s ensemble in Switzerland, where she performed with much success the roles of Scintilla at Bruno Maderna’s opera Satyricon, Skulptur (Die Antilope), Musetta (La Bohéme), Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), among others.

Alvarez frequently appears in opera houses in his current country of residence The Czech Republic, including the National State Opera in Prague, Plzeň, Ústí, Ostrava and Brno, where he is a permanent guest soloist since 2006. In the latest seasons he has performed in the main tenor roles from the operas Edgar, Les contes d'Hoffmann (Teatro Colon, Argentina), Andréa Chénier, Ernani, Arrigo in Vespri Siciliani, Il trovatore, Prince (Rusalka), Max (The Free Shooter), Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Canio (I Pagliacci), Enzo Grimaldo (La Gioconda), Don José (Carmen ), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Calaf (Turandot), Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca) a.o.

Her first opera engagement was at the the National Opera Nüremberg. During this period, she was invited to Berlin's Deutsche Oper, the Opera House in Hannover, the Munich State Theater am Gärtnerplatz and the Staastoper Berlin. She was a soloist at the ensemble of the Kassel State Theater. Böhnert performed in various concerts and opera productions in Europe, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and more widely in Australia, China and Japan. The magazine Opernwelt nominated her "Young Artist" for the role of Verdi's Gilda, staged by Vera Nemirova.

Neivi Martinez is a Mexican-German soprano. She first studied music at the Sonora University and then continued at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. After that she performed for 11 years at the State Theater in Klagenfurt in Austria and the State Theater of Giessen, Germany, singing numerous opera and operetta productions. Her solo concert activity has allowed her to sing in Austria, Germany, Korea, Bulgaria, Croatia, United States, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Sweden, Mexico and the Balkan Countries. Beside her singing career, Martinez works as a manager of artists, producer and pioneer in Virtual Reality Technologies.
